Aged in a combination of new, 1 and 2-year-old barrels, it exhibits a deep, layered profile, with aromas and flavors of blackberry, toast, licorice, chocolate and charred meats all emerging from the glass. Big, full-bodied and concentrated, with a serious kick of tannin, this blockbuster should be given another year or three in the cellar.
