"(93-95) out of 100....The 2005 St.-Joseph Vignes de l’Hospice boasts a dense purple hue, huge tannin, but massive concentration and intensity. Minerality, floral notes, and an impression of a blockbuster Syrah walking on a tightrope are present in this brilliantly executed and etched wine. Give it 4-5 years of cellaring, and drink it over the following two decades." - WA
"(93-95) out of 100...Inky ruby. Remarkably floral bouquet of strawberry, blackberry and kirsch, with lovely rose and violet building in the glass. Stains the palate with sweet red and dark berry liqueur flavors, picking up exotic floral pastilles with air.
